A clock is an instrument for measuring time. Not all historians agree on
the history of the clock due to it's lengthy origin. However, the clock in its modern form,
24 hour clock, was first in use since at least the 14th century. The word clock
comes from the Latin word "clocca" meaning bell.
Some purposes of clocks are: Of course the obvious purpose of a clock is
to tell the present time. They are also used to tell how long it takes to get
